SIRDEP is a non-governmental, not-for-profit organization in Cameroon head quartered in Bamenda. We have a multi-disciplinary team of experienced agronomists, agro-economists, livestock technicians, rural engineers, and natural resource management experts who work together to foster positive, sustainable development.

The Society for Initiatives in Rural Development and Environmental Protection (SIRDEP) is a non-governmental organization operating in Cameroon with its head quarters in Bamenda. SIRDEP has a multi-displinary team of very experienced agronomists, agro economists, livestock technicians, rural engineers and natural resources management experts who work together to foster development.

Our mission

SIRDEP is committed to improving the well being of its beneficiaries in Cameroon by building on their potentials through innovative strategies.

SIRDEP's OBJECTIVES

To achieve the mission, SIRDEP has four main objectives:
1) To alleviate hardship among the target population within the context of humanitarian crisis in the North West and South West Regions.
2) To reduce inequality between men and women in the target communities.
3)To assist the target population build resilience to climate change and sustainably manage their environment.
4)To strengthen SIRDEP's internal systems and structures.
